Colorado can be a little cold for our warm weather dog in the winter, so she normally doesn’t make it on the ski trips to the Rockies. We didn’t have a chance to make our summer trip into Denver in 2020 because of Corona Virus, so that was a huge bummer for both us and the pets. Our hopes are improving for 2021. Colorado in general is a great place to take your pets on vacation. There are many outdoor adventures and pet friendly hotels. There is still a chance we might take the dog with us on an Elk hunting trip into the Route National Forrest just south of Steamboat in late October as we always drive for these trips. The weather most of the time is still nice, and the dog probably will love a little bit of snow if it falls.
